The Cool Million Challenge is the ultimate high stakes golf tournament, restricted to 60 talented golfers from around the world, representing those interested in a week of thrills and excitement.
How the purse is divided between the Sponsor and his player is up to the individuals, however Probacker will be happy to provide a contract template. The select few will then be a part of The Cool Million challenge.

Whilst the 60 challengers battle it out, their Sponsors will have the opportunity to enjoy up to four nights of golf, parties and the excitement of watching their player try to win the Million pound winners prize.
The ultimate challenge of this event is to effectively place a win a Cool Million. The Sponsors can either pre-select their own player within the ‘eligibility section’ or have access to a list of players along with career history and form to select from.
Their chosen player competes with the 59 other professionals over two rounds of stroke play, with the top 16, playing straight match play to establish the Champion and winner of The Cool Million.
The golfers making it to the last 16, automatically get the original sponsorship back for their ‘owner’ – then, it’s simply about how much more can be won!
During the week, the Sponsors will be invited to play in a Pro Am tournament with their chosen golfer and will be given rooms on site, so that they can enjoy pre-arranged events each day, or simply go out and support their golfer. Each night there will be parties and opportunities to study the competitor’s form.
The Venue
This unique and outstanding event will be played from Monday August 2nd through to Friday August 6th 2010 at Archerfield Links, in East Lothian Scotland, home to some of the greatest golfing land in the world. Archerfield Links is home to one of the UK’s most exclusive private members golf clubs. With two courses and a magnificent, beautifully restored 17th Century Mansion House, it has some of the finest accommodation in Scotland.
Having already hosted Gary Player’s European Invitational, as well as Sir Ian Botham and Ronan Keating’s Celebrity Challenge, the venue is the ideal location to host The Cool Million. Relaxed and free from old-fashioned dress codes or petty rules, Archerfield links is golf as it is meant to be.
